NTU College of Engineering (CoE) is ranked first in Asia and Singapore and 4th in the world for Engineering and Technology in the latest QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject. An upward jump of 10 places, this is the College’s best performance in the QS WUR by Subject in Engineering and Technology since its launch in 2013.
In the World’s Top 25 for all Engineering Subjects
NTU CoE is also named among the world’s top 10 for two subjects. Our Electrical and Electronic Engineering is ranked 6th and Materials Science is 7th internationally. In Electrical and Electronic Engineering, we are ahead of some of the world’s top universities, including Harvard University, University of Oxford and California Institute of Technology.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering has jumped 30 places, while Materials Science has leapt 34 places since the launch of the subject rankings in 2011.
Besides having two subjects in the global top 10, our 4 other engineering disciplines are also ranked among the world's top 25.
Top in Singapore for 3 Subjects
We are also No.1 in Singapore for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (6th globally), Materials Science and Engineering (7th globally), and Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering (11th globally).
Our remarkable performance in the latest QS WUR by Subject 2017 reaffirms our strengths and expertise in engineering education and research.
